My name's Snowy, I'm a digital artist and aspiring game dev from the USA(help), I like many things, can never be normal about them, and can never stop drawing my sona in those things because I HAVE FREE WILL(what a narcissist, right? lol)

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Animated Arts, and trying to expand my skillset, seeing as my chosen industries are in flames right now HAHA- Mainly in the forms of video editing, coding, now web design!

Originally made this site because I felt inspired by other ones I saw on neocities, and I wanted to experience the small web in a way that feels similar to the internet I was just a bit too young to remember very clearly! It's since become a new creative outlet for me to do what I want without having to take censorship, algorithms, or potential harassment into account. Plus, exploring the indie web makes for a better use of my time than doomscrolling :3

The indie web itself is something I'm trying to actively participate in more as a way for me to engage with the internet without burning myself out. I kinda noticed how social networks like twitter and tiktok have been making me feel almost constantly miserable, so I've been trying to delve into other hobbies and smaller communities to hopefully help with that.

I'm probably never going to fully leave mainstream social media, considering I still want to get my art out where a lot of people can see it, but I'd like to make my exposure to it a bit more balanced just for my own sanity.
